Final Mercy Monday

Petition Delivery

Purpose: Hand-delivering the clemency petition to the Governor’s office to demand mercy for a 75-year-old man who never pulled a trigger.

  • 7:30 AM: Gathering at the Governor’s Mansion.

  • 8:00 AM: The March begins. We will walk to the Capitol Building (Governor’s Office) to deliver the signatures.

  • Logistics Note: This is a 3-mile round trip walk.

  • Special Guests: Reverend Smith and members of the Burton family (Carolyn, Lois, and Cornelius) are expected to be in attendance.
